Doing these early means you are getting yourself ready for it. And mostly you will have good progress from the beginning.
No need to struggle and have difficult times when you can avoid that. Maybe you will get difficult times, but not with the obvious ones, you know.
You will find some of the main but there are a lot of things. And I will keep updating the list to share more things. This is not everything because it depends on what blogger you are.
There might be more things that are not on the list. You will need to find it. I say this because I don’t want to claim the best and these are everything.
We are growing together and this is only part of everything we need.
If you are a beginner, but find yourself not doing any of these. Well, I highly recommend you do them. It would help to make your journey easier.
Which means making blogging easier for you. Also, have a good beginning to the journey.
Don’t need to fight and struggle with things that other bloggers went through. Blogging for beginners is not that easy, but it gets easier as you learn and keep going.
1. Having a purpose and plans for blogging
Let me start with one of the important things. And I didn’t have this one until a few years ago. Although I started blogging a long, long time ago. Which is having a purpose and plans for blogging.
Every new or old blogger should have a purpose for why they are blogging.
This way, it will be a clear journey of where you want to go and what you want to do as a blogger. Don’t feel lost doing this because that won’t help you to be successful and it will be difficult to keep going.
Having a purpose is one thing, but when you have a great purpose and plans, that’s another thing. And you need to do the second one.
Which builds your blogging journey based on something that means a lot to you. It will help to have good determination and that is very important.
Some people quit blogging after a while, which is common, but if you really want to be a successful blogger. Then, make sure to start with a good purpose. That means a lot and great plans.
You will take time setting up this, and that is normal. Every blogger has their own way of doing this. Sometimes it might not be clear why you want to blog.
I’m talking a little about purpose and more about planning for this part.
It’s not easy to come up with great plans for your journey, but it will be worth it to take the time. Therefore, don’t rush the process and take your time until you come up with it.
Check out more of the blog:
How you start, and what purpose you choose to start blogging, will determine the journey. Whether would be easy and fun or will be difficult.
Because determination and everything will depend on how you see it. But make sure that you have a good purpose and always try to achieve and work for it no matter what.
2. Improving the coding knowledge
Next, would be another important thing for bloggers. And you might choose not to start with it, but it will help you a lot if you start with it. Learning and improving your coding knowledge.
Coding will be a huge part of blogging even though you can use plugins or tools to help you.
Understanding how it works will be important. For example, if you move to a platform that doesn’t have plugins, what would you do?
No need to attend a school or take a university to study them in four years. Getting the basic and more coding things that can help you.
Because you might not use it a lot. And as you keep learning, you will learn more and more things. Therefore, start with simple things and the basic ones.
It’s important for blogging for beginners which some people don’t use when they start. However, one day you will have to use it or get an issue and need coding.
Q: How long it will take you to learn to code?
A: Well, depending on how long you learn every day. If you are learning a lot of times, it will be faster. But if you take your time, it will be slow. It’s possible to control how long it will take for you to learn to code like a pro.
I took some online courses to learn to code, and I had a goal to create a website from scratch. So, I spent a lot of time learning and improving my coding knowledge.
But I still don’t have the best one which I feel upset about it. However, it’s enough for me to add things from scratch on my own. Something that I like and that makes me happy is that I learned.
There are many issues that I had to figure things out myself about coding to fix the issue with my blog.
Q: The best source to learn to code online?
- Lectures from famous universities online
- Read books about coding and the language you want to improve
- Getting the best course online you can get
- Reading blogs on the internet to learn about some things
Don’t rush the process to learn a lot in a short time. This is something that will take a while and the best thing you can do is enjoy the learning process and do it at a normal pace.
Rushing won’t help with anything, and you will forget it fast. Something we don’t want and it’s not a good way of blogging for beginners.
3. Organize everything at the beginning
Something that I wish I did when I started blogging. And that is to have everything well organized. Now I encourage a lot of new bloggers to do that. It will make your life so much easier, even after a while of blogging.
Don’t make things messy thinking that you will organize them later. There will be a new thing you will get and it will be difficult to keep everything organized.
Also, it will take your time to organize everything.
Have you read this quote about being organized…
“Being organized isn’t about getting rid of everything you own or trying to become a different person. It’s about living the way you want to live, but better.” — Andrew Mellen
This is one of the blogging for beginners which helps you to have a really good start for your journey. Whatever you do, always make sure to keep things organized.
I’m going to mention something that can help you as well in this list. So, keep reading to know why it’s good for blogging for beginners.
When I say everything, I mean literally everything, whether it’s pictures or files. Post ideas, tasks, and everything related to blogging.
Well, you might think it’s not really important to do that. But as you keep blogging, it will be messy later and hard to organize them.
4. Getting involved in the communities
Moving to the next and also important thing. And that is getting involved in the communities. When I started blogging, I was part of the communities on social media platforms.
However, I didn’t really pay attention to them. That was a mistake because I could’ve had a better blogging experience, you know.
Benefits of getting involved:
1. Learn about others’ mistakes to avoid
2. New methods of blogging, marketing and even writing a blog
3. Finding new tools and things to make life easier for you
4. Make friends and have people around to help you grow
It’s not only about writing posts and marketing. Sometimes you will need to be around people to learn something new.
And they can help you to stay motivated. Improve your knowledge about a lot of things related to blogging.
So, that’s why we need to get involved and participate in things. Reply to other people and ask your questions. Talk with some people as well.
There are a lot of things that you can do which help you to get involved. Make friends in the community as well.
This is one of the most important things about blogging for beginners. Not doing this would cause you to struggle a lot with getting traffic and building your blog as well.
5. Prepare all the tools you would need
Coming to the next here, which is also very important. Make sure that you prepare all the tools you would need. And I’m talking about any tool from SEO tools, to photo editing tools.
Depending on what bloggers you would be. There are some things that you need to have which can help you to make it easy for you. Some people start with nothing and just a blog and write a blog post.
That is not bad, but if you want to be successful, you would need to get things ready. You have to start plain with nothing.
Well, we are not in the old days. Because nowadays it will require a lot more than just posting.
Which is possible to get, but you need to learn about it. This is one of the important things about blogging for beginners. And we need to do it when we start blogging.
Having this when you start blogging is a great thing. You will learn how to use them and also improve using them as you keep blogging.
Therefore, make sure to learn about all the tools that are important for your niche. Because every blogger would have something different.

You’ll also need to set realistic goals for yourself so that you can measure progress as you go along.
To ensure that your content stands out, it’s important to research the competition in your niche and develop a strategy for monetization.
This will help you understand what type of content resonates with readers and how best to monetize it.
It’s also important to consider current trends and topics that may be popular in the future, so that you can keep up with changes in the industry.
Once you have an idea of which topics to write about, create a schedule for yourself that fits into your lifestyle. Make sure not to overcommit.
Publishing too often could lead to burnout or lower quality content – but try and stick to deadlines if possible.
If writing isn’t something that comes naturally, don’t worry – practice makes perfect! Consider using tools such as autocorrect and grammar checkers or enlisting help from editors or proofreaders if needed.
By taking these steps now, you will have laid the foundation for success later on in your blogging career!

You can improve your SEO rankings by optimizing titles, descriptions, and content on your blog posts as well as off-page factors such as backlinks from reputable sources.
Social media marketing is another important component of an effective promotion strategy.
Invest time into creating an engaging social media presence across multiple platforms and use it to promote new blog posts or engage with potential readers who may be interested in what you have to offer.
Email campaigns are also a great way to reach out to past readers or potential leads.
Creating high-quality email newsletters that provide helpful tips for readers will help you build relationships with them and encourage them to come back to read more content on your blog.
