Life learned lessons: change my life for the better.
I’ve been trying to post four times a week lately, and it’s not so easy. But I want to keep my content about a variety of things. Just like always, but sometimes it isn’t easy.
Today’s post, I consider it as low-key and something that I don’t spend as much time on as others.
That is because I’ve been feeling overwhelmed lately and need to relax. So, I decided to share something requiring less effort instead of completely stopping.
Today I want to share some of the life-learned lessons. You might ask what that means; well, it means lessons I learned and changed my life.
Have you done something, and it feels like your life has changed to something else?
That is what I mean, and I want to share a few with you. Hopefully, you can learn something from them and help with your journey in life since we have different trips in life.
There are different life lessons below in other aspects of life. Since life has many things, I want to mention something that helped me to improve my life in the past few weeks or months.
And I’m still working on maintaining the tremendous change because it’s not something to do one time and rest.
So many things in life you need to make sure that keep you from ruining the progress of getting better in life.

Learn by experience: Things I learned working from home
It might seem familiar to some of you, and I would love to know about your experience with them. And the title says life lessons, but they are also more like practices.
If you decide to change them, it’s like practice, and you need to work slowly on them.
You won’t change quickly, but you will need to keep fighting. That doesn’t mean they are impossible, but more like you will need to practice achieving the positive results of the lesson.
1. Stopped watching videos while working
Alright, I will start with the most recent one, and something I feel entirely changed my life. I used to watch videos before while working.
Thinking that it could help me to work, but it is the opposite. Although I was getting my work done, it used to take a long time, and I always struggled to finish the daily tasks for each day.
I recently found it because watching videos distracted my mind from other things.
There was a significant change I felt when I stopped doing it. Let me tell you, it wasn’t easy to control, and still working on it.
It’s addictive, and he wants to keep watching videos ha-ha. We take from this that we can’t keep our minds busy with many things. Sometimes we might not feel it, but it hurts us.
So, I highly recommend stopping watching videos or getting your mind distracted. Switching your focus to other things, even for a few seconds, is not suitable during work.
It should all be about work until you finish and later do whatever you want…
2. Always stay aware and inspect everything
You stay aware of everything, whether it’s for your work or life. This is something I would say there are people already doing.
But it took me a while to know it. You are staying when you have a garden in your backyard; you would take a look from afar and think things are good.
But sometimes it might not be, and inspecting everything is a must. I might not have a garden, but it was an example of something I recently learned.
Inspecting everything also means if you find something not good. Make sure to check everything because you never know what to see.
It’s a life lesson because, without this, I feel like I would miss many things and keep struggling with issues I found recently and fixed.
This is important to many living things, whether gardening or even work. Maybe in the kitchen as well.
3. Use a list to put together tasks and organize them
Another thing you might be familiar with and already doing it. And that would be putting together a list and organizing them.
Well, before this, I used to work randomly and do things. But I felt like I was everywhere and sometimes didn’t know what to do.
I always ask myself why I was doing that when it wasn’t essential. This is the oldest lesson I learned, which changed my life.
Using a list and putting the tasks together helped me stay organized. My mind is always straight and doesn’t waste time thinking about what to do. Things are already on the list; I need to finish them.
I’m not sure if you doubt yourself for doing this. But I highly recommend using a list of tasks to avoid wasting time and effort on the wrong things.
You can adjust them as you keep working and doing your things.
4. Be responsible for a time like its money
This is something that I learned before but never focused on it more. I know we need to pay attention, but I never thought we needed to be wise in spending our time until recently. And recently, as in the past few months.
It makes me realize that we need to be careful about spending our time. So, I started thinking of it as if it was my money and how I would spend it.
Something I like to remind myself of is this quote…
“Time is free, but it’s priceless. You can’t own it, but you can use it. You can’t keep it, but you can spend it. Once you’ve lost it, you can never get it back.” — Harvey MacKay
“Time is like money, the less we have of it to spare the further we make it go.” ~ Josh Billings
Either on something good that helps or waste it on things that don’t have anything good for me.
When my thinking changed, I started to be more careful with how to spend time. However, I’m still working on it to ensure not to waste time.
Although it’s not easy, other things can force you to spend it on something; I try my best to control how to spend my time.

5. Understand what it takes to be successful
We all know the success road is different, and you will need to do many things. But we never really understand what it takes to be successful.
Is it spending more money on something to get it? Spending so much effort on some a task to get where you want?
Well, it depends on what you want to be successful at. Make sure to know and understand what it takes. Don’t assume or do things randomly.
Things to pay attention to:
- How things will help you get to the next
- The time I need to spend on it until I get it done
- What benefits I will get from doing it
- Is it going to cause my health to be negative
You will need to spend some time learning about it. Make sure you are doing the right thing.
This is something I learned, and it helped me a lot to save time and effort and allowed me to move toward my dream. And I feel like my life is moving forward, which is a significant change for me.
Learning from mistakes: the power of failure
In the grand tapestry of life, failure is an unavoidable thread woven into the fabric of our existence. It is a natural part of the human experience, a stepping stone on the path to growth and self-improvement.
The School of Life teaches us that embracing failure is not about wallowing in self-pity or succumbing to defeat.
Instead, it is about acknowledging our missteps, taking responsibility for our actions, and extracting valuable lessons to avoid repeating the same errors in the future.
Those who view failure as an opportunity for personal development adopt a growth mindset, recognizing that setbacks are stepping stones to success rather than insurmountable obstacles.
They understand that failure is not a reflection of their worth or capabilities but a temporary hurdle that can be overcome with perseverance and determination.
Embracing this mindset allows individuals to approach challenges with a positive outlook, transforming failures into stepping stones towards achieving their aspirations.
Stepping outside one’s comfort zone is another crucial aspect of learning from mistakes. venturing beyond the familiar boundaries of our routine can lead to unexpected growth opportunities and new horizons of self-discovery.
Taking calculated risks allows us to explore our potential, stretch our capabilities, and gain valuable insights into our strengths and weaknesses.
While failure may sometimes be the outcome of such ventures, the lessons learned and experiences gained are invaluable, shaping us into more well-rounded individuals.
The School of Life teaches us that change is the only constant in life, and that we must learn to adapt and embrace change in order to thrive.
This section will explore how to handle unexpected challenges with grace and resilience, embrace new opportunities even when they lie outside our comfort zones, and learn to let go of the past and embrace the present moment.
- Life is full of unexpected twists and turns, and it is how we respond to these challenges that defines our character.
When faced with adversity, we can either crumble under pressure or rise above it. Those who embrace change and see setbacks as opportunities for growth are the ones who ultimately succeed. They understand that failure is not the end, but rather a stepping stone to success. - Stepping outside of our comfort zones is another key aspect of embracing change.
When we venture into the unknown, we open ourselves up to new possibilities and experiences. Taking calculated risks allows us to explore our potential.
Stretch our capabilities, and gain valuable insights into our strengths and weaknesses. It is through these experiences that we grow and evolve as individuals. - Letting go of the past and living in the present moment is essential for embracing change.
Holding on to past mistakes or regrets can prevent us from moving forward and experiencing the fullness of life.
Instead, we should focus on the present moment and make the most of each day. This doesn’t mean forgetting the past, but rather learning from it and using it to shape our future. - Change can be difficult, but it is also an opportunity for growth and self-discovery.
By embracing change and learning to navigate life’s unpredictability, we open ourselves up to a world of possibilities and experiences.
So let us embrace the journey, with all its ups and downs, and discover the wisdom and strength that lies within us.
The art of resilience: bouncing back from adversity
Bouncing back from adversity is a skill that can be learned and developed. It involves recognizing that failure is a stepping stone to growth, cultivating a positive mindset, seeking support from others, and learning from past experiences.
Failure is a natural part of life
When faced with adversity, it is important to remember that failure is a natural part of life and that everyone experiences setbacks.
The key is to learn from your mistakes and use them as opportunities to grow and improve. This can be done by identifying what went wrong, understanding why it happened, and taking steps to ensure that it does not happen again.
Cultivating a positive mindset is essential for bouncing back from adversity.
This means focusing on the things that you can control and letting go of the things that you cannot. It also means believing in yourself and your ability to overcome challenges.
When you have a positive mindset, you are more likely to see opportunities in the midst of adversity and to take action to improve your situation.
Seeking support from others can also be helpful when bouncing back from adversity.
Talking to friends, family, or a therapist can provide you with emotional support and encouragement. They can also offer advice and guidance on how to deal with your challenges.
Finally, learning from past experiences is essential for bouncing back from adversity.
By reflecting on your past experiences, you can identify what worked and what did not. This information can then be used to make better decisions in the future.
Bouncing back from adversity is not easy, but it is possible. By following these tips, you can develop the resilience you need to overcome challenges and achieve your goals.
Finding purpose: discovering meaning in life’s journey
Amidst the hustle and bustle of daily life, it’s easy to get caught up in the pursuit of external validation and material possessions.
However, the School of Life teaches us that true fulfillment lies in discovering our purpose and finding meaning in our life’s journey.
This profound understanding can be cultivated by aligning our actions with our passions, reflecting on our core values, and embarking on a journey of self-discovery.
One path to discovering purpose is to identify and pursue our passions.
These are the activities that ignite our souls, bring us joy, and make us feel truly alive. Whether it’s painting, writing, playing music, or engaging in social work, immersing ourselves in our passions allows us to express our authentic selves and contribute something unique to the world.
Another key element in finding purpose is self-reflection.
Taking the time to contemplate our values, beliefs, and aspirations helps us gain a deeper understanding of who we are and what truly matters to us.
This process of introspection enables us to make conscious choices that align with our core principles, leading to a sense of fulfillment and integrity.
Furthermore, the School of Life emphasizes the importance of self-awareness in our quest for purpose.
By cultivating a deep understanding of our strengths, weaknesses, and motivations, we can make informed decisions about our life’s direction.
Self-awareness empowers us to recognize our potential, overcome challenges, and embrace opportunities that resonate with our true selves.
Embarking on this journey of self-discovery may not always be easy.
It requires courage to confront our fears, challenge our limiting beliefs, and step outside our comfort zones. However, the rewards are immeasurable.
By aligning our actions with our passions, reflecting on our values, and cultivating self-awareness, we unlock the door to a life filled with meaning, purpose, and authentic happiness.

“Be responsible for a time like it’s money” WOW that one hits me! During my self awareness path, learning to say NO to certain things in order to invest my time in my priorities has been something I have struggled with quite a bit. This phrase hits me because I’m very conscious with money. Your perspective makes me reflect a lot on it, thank you! – Yzzy
