Hello everyone! here we go with another post for this week. I’m glad everything going very well with my schedule this year so far. Today’s post is something new and the first time to try it since I started doing the DIY projects. This is Part 1 of the new DIY project that is related to books.
Well, I said related to books because I’ve never done something that is for books. And can help readers to make their daily life easier. So I decided to give it a try this time.
I’ve done something for school and makeup haha. However, it seems like a little difficult to do for books. But, I did it anyway and you will see today part one of this project.
I’m going to do something new on this post as well. Where I’m not going to specify the items. And I don’t know if you guys will guess it. But I want to know what you guys think this will be. Comment below after you read the post.
Next week I’m going to share part 2 and the finished look of it. So stay tuned.
It’s always fun to do new projects and see how far can we go with doing things at home. This is the purpose of this post. I hope you will enjoy it.
I’m sorry to say this guys. This is something you have read and understand about it. Because the pictures will not explain a lot, you know haha.
Part 1 of the new DIY project that is related to books
I’m going to try this idea on another project in the future posts. But I’m not going to specify the items and talk a lot about them. Because I want you guys to guess what this project will be.
Anyways, this project as usual will be made out of cardboard and paper. Something I’ve been working with for all my projects. So here we go with another and new idea.
This is also one of the long projects and let me tell you this. The first part took about 3 days to finish which is long. However, in case you are interested, my longest project took me about a week.
It will be a useful project. And help people who like to read books and don’t have a lot of money to live fancy. I mean it’s not that fancy but it could help a lot. Let me know what you think this will be. And in the next part, you will see what it will be.
The required items

As always, starting this post with the items that we will use for this project. Well, you can see in the picture above. It’s all cardboard boards but doesn’t have the white layers.
They are bigger than usual because it’s for books, you know. If you have small books and want to for them, that would be fine. I don’t know if you already can tell but this one will fully cardboard. You can get a wooden project like and that’s a hint of this project.
The first picture above includes cardboard that is 32cm to 18cm high. And follow it with more cardboard that is 26cm to 8cm high, that’s in the second picture above.
Also, the last two pictures will be for part two, but I included them in this section because we will need them. However, I will talk more about it in the second part. It will giveaway the project haha.
For this part, I’m going to show few steps of making this project and let you guys guess what it will be.
The making of the project

Something about this project is that it takes a little more resources than usual. Which something you really need to prepare for before starting. If you want to do it.
So the first step. What I did is adding the white layers and I used the white thick papers. Which are longer than normal A4. You can connect two or more A4s if you don’t have thick long papers.
There is a lot of cardboard covered with white, but what are they for? that’s the question for the day haha. However, another big hint which the next picture says it.

So this is what I have done using the cardboard in the first picture I said earlier. Am I going to build a box for books? lol as you can see it will be a big project. I wonder what it will be haha.
Wait, hold on… what about the second picture above. What it will be used for? I’m going to show you guys what I did with them and you can guess what it is, and guess what this project will be at the end.

The second picture above will be used to make something like this. And still, I’m not saying what is this but you can guess based on the picture you see haha. I think if I say one word, you guys will guess it right away.
I know it’s a bit confusing but I thought to give it a try and write a new way to present DIY projects haha. Let me know what you guys think of this type of post. Do you guys want to see more of it in the future?

It is great that you can use available materials for a DIY project. I am guessing this is either going to be a box for books or where you can store books?
Ah, good guess but I’m not sure it’s the right one haha.
I can’t wait to see the finished product. No idea what. A bookmark container? TBR list holder? No idea . . . 😉
Bookmark container? ah, close but not it haha.
