Hello everyone and welcome to another post for this week. I want to talk about another self-development post this time. However, it’s something that I want to share for a while. But I didn’t know how to put this together. Today, finally, I got the idea and I will be sharing creativity in planning. You will get tips for planning and how can you accomplish them as well.

This is something I’ve been doing for a while now. Planning and working but there are some things that we should know. And I will be sharing it in this post.

Hopefully, by the end of this post, you will be able to plan and achieve your plans with Creativity in planning. Also, you will manage to add creativity to your planning process.

I think we all know about the word “Plan” but how many of us actually follow through with our plans? Well, this is a common problem and it happened to me. However, I found a good way that can help me to follow through with whatever I want to accomplish.

Something we all have to know is that planning is not everything. But something that can help us to be organized and know what to do.

It can be one of the main things that we need to reach success. And I’m saying this because the way how you see it will affect your mindset and determination.

Think of it as a roadmap and step by step until you achieve success. As humans, without planning, you will always be lost and confused.

Well, you can try to achieve something without doing it. You will see the process and progress will be heading everywhere and nowhere.

Q: What do you mean by “Planning”?

A: That is a great question. If you read my previous paragraphs and got this question. Planning is putting together a step by step actions to achieve something whether is a goal, or a specific thing you need/want.

Also, could be a long or short planning process. We need it for anything and everything.

Q: When we don’t need to do any planning or have any creativity in planning?

A: Another good question you might ask yourself. The answer is simple. You will always need to plan. However, for easy and quick things we can do them right away without spending time.

It can be a very short time to plan the steps and proceed to do them and achieve or get things done.

Sometimes It can be very easy to the point we follow things without any time to plan. And you don’t need any creativity unless you want to do that.

So, creativity in planning would be when we want to achieve things that need time to accomplish. Also, something that can affect the final results of the process.

Please read until the end because I will share how you can follow up and get your plans done and achieved.

Types of planning

• When you want to get a specific thing done
  
• Have an idea to turn it into reality
  
• The simple planning process for entertainment and leisure
  
• A project to get it done
  
• A milestone you want to reach and improvement

Before we jump into creativity in planning. I tried as best as possible to put together the list of types of planning. Because there are many types based on what you need to do or things you have.

The list above is not all the types because I wouldn’t be able to put them into a list. And that is not all because there are categories for each one.

You might need to know about them since we are talking about planning.

• First is the corporate plan(this is like strategic planning but with a more complex and long-term)
  
• And also a tactical plan(focus on what is going to happen in this type of planning)
  
• You have also the operational plan(This is the type of planning for how things need to happen)
  
• Strategic Planning (You need this in some cases because it is for why and reasons for things to happen)
  
• Also, Contingency planning (Can be for backup or if an unexpected change or thing happens)

I might mention some types but not all of them we use in our daily life. Some of them can be for business and other things in life such as science.

However, in some cases, a normal person can use these types for doing something. Such as running a blog might not sound like a business but is important.

FYI

You don’t need to know the types of planning you will use. However, it can be good to be aware of them. And for business owners may be necessary to know because it’s a sensitive process.

But you could be doing any of these types of planning and you don’t even know it.

Tips for planning

This is very important even if you are trying to focus on creativity in planning. And I want to mention this even for normal people with any type of planning.

Because we might plan but we never achieve something. That has a reason and might be because you didn’t do it the right way.

I’m not saying I have the best way but it’s something that can work for accomplishing plans and getting things done with Creativity in planning.

And you can see progress and maybe get your dream life that you wanted for a long time. This is a big part of the success that we need to know how to it properly.

You must have a goal or a final results

Planning might be a big part of success but if you don’t have this one. Which is a base for planning, it would be difficult to start or even establish a well-done plan.

Whether it’s a goal that you want to achieve or a specific thing you need to get at the end of your process.

For example, planning to change your morning routine. You would need to have a good replacement that you want to work on.

Depending on what you planning, make sure to specify what is the end result or the goal. It’s an element of successful planning and something that can help to set up your plans.

The steps should be realistic and easy to do for you

Most of us never achieve our plans because it would have steps that can’t be achieved or are impossible. Maybe requires more than what you thought it would need.

So, whatever you are able to do, make sure it’s realistic steps that you can do. This way, it will help you to start accomplishing plans.

You might not notice that but I mentioned easy to do for you. We have different abilities and talents. Also, not everyone has the same stamina.

Therefore, whatever works for you and things that you know you would do. This is a very important thing to remember when you want to plan things.

Write down all your plans

Another very important thing to do. Whether it’s for short or long planning. You need to write them down. Because it will help you to set up the perfect plan for whatever you want to do.

Some of us think is not necessary to do this for some planning. Unless it’s so easy and so quick, you need to have it in front of you.

Benefits of writing down the plans:

1. You will be able to adjust it easily
   
2. Reminder for future reference
   
3. Before you start, you can review the steps.
   
4. It will help you to ask for opinions from an expert and professionals

There are many benefits but I mentioned some of them that are very important for us. And these are why I do write all my plans.

Some people might have a different benefit from doing this. Overall, it’s good to have them in front of you. Therefore, I highly recommend writing your plans.

Now, it’s time for what you guys have been waiting for. How you can add Creativity in planning. Whether it’s for a business, your own project, or just something you want to achieve.

We will learn what this means and how it’s important for planning. Also, how you can do it. it is good to be creative in your planning but there are some things we should learn.

You need to be able to know about other people. If you want something new and fresh out of the oven. Make sure to know what has been thought about it.

Planning a project can have a step you need to do that you have never done before. Also, may require you to do something you have never done before. You need to learn the importance of planning as well.
