Here we go another week and with that, welcome to another post. Also, a new intro for this post haha. I hope everyone staying safe during this crazy time. I’m back to making new projects and today I got a nice DIY idea for you guys to try at home. This idea can have many uses that I will mention later in the post. This is A simple and nice rocket DIY holder for multiple items.
I think working on a DIY project is like exercising when you stop for a while. Coming back it will be a struggle haha. That’s how I felt when I started on this project. However, I will work my way to make longer projects for you guys. Stay tuned and subscribe to the blog so you won’t miss it in the future. Also, might be trying wooden projects soon as well haha. I will inform you guys.
Something I like about this project is that can be done at any home. You don’t need to spend a lot of money to make it and yet can be so useful. It helps to have a better-organized desk as well with a nice look haha. Also, this is not too long or too short which nice to waste some hours on.

I made this because I wanted to add more paper DIY projects. However, I thought even the base should be paper but I couldn’t haha. Everything will fall right away. So this will be like the ones I mention in my previous post which most of it are papers except the stands.
This time I wanted to do more useful projects but at first, I was thinking to do a decoration idea haha. However, I thought it would be better if I can combine the two and make it in one project haha. That’s how I got the idea that you will know about it in a second.
At the moment, the best thing I can do is a useful holder haha. I looked at the most used things I can make them in one place and it appears to be pencils and pens. However, as I said earlier, this can be for anything. If I have makeup brushes, I would show a picture of it haha. It can also be a holder for scissors if you have a lot but if you have too big ones. The size and measurement should be adjusted.
A simple and nice rocket DIY holder for multiple items
The name was random and I’m not sure if it really looks like a rocket but the way how it stands. It looks like a rocket about to launch to the sky haha. So I picked this name for it. What are your thoughts about this name?
Anyways, this project one of the projects I made that can be decorated as you even after you made and after days from the ideas was finished haha. As long as it can be added. I would say drawings or stickers and something like that.
Anyways, let me give you a tease before starting the tutorial of this project. So you can see the final version of how it will be.
Here is a close up picture of this rocket haha. This can be for anything you want as long as it fit haha. Has no label on it and will be for whatever you put inside it. The best feature of this project.
Also, like my previous ideas that can be decorated later. I started it with a simple look. Honestly, I had a style in my mind but in the middle of this project, it got difficult to follow up haha.
The required items:
Alright, so let’s start this tutorial with the required items that I will need. Since this simple and that mean, I won’t have to make a lot of items. Even though I miss my previous long projects. I would spend at least a day a nd half to finish haha. This one few hours only haha.
Alright, so this time I’m not going to talk over every item, haha. As you can see the pictures above. Main items that we going to use to make the final version of this simple and nice rocket holder for multiple items. However, another small piece will be shared later in the post.
I don’t have to explain the measurements haha. Everything is shown in the pictures and as you can see, this will be good for many makeup brushes or pens and pencils. Because it’s big enough, but if you want something bigger, I suggest increase the numbers of everything haha.
The last picture is like a roll of paper that is the body of the rocket when I glue it to the bottom side haha. I wanted to add a style to the middle of it with cutting lines but it did not go as planned haha. So I had to leave as it is for now.
It took me as usually more than one try to get a good shape of the bottom side of the rocket haha. However, in the end, I managed to make it look good. Cutting circles is little diffcult for me haha.
The items in the second stage
The second stage is to cover each of the items in the first pictures with white layers aka thick papers haha. So it looks better in the final stage and I use this because the layer is nice when gluing it with the glue gun. There is another option to glue it with normal paper glue but I kind of like this because it holds strong and quick haha.
This looks too simple. So I fixed that.. Snap your fingers to see the results haha.
Boom! Here are the results. I used the red color because I’m going with the two most best-matched colors. You will see the second one later in the post. However, for now, this is the best after adding colors and a star to it for more additions to it.
Alright from here, I think this is everything I can show and the rest you will see it in the next pictures. For some reason, I don’t have pictures of the rest of the items haha. It happens sometimes to most of us haha. Sometimes we lose pictures of our work
Since there are no more pictures to show. I’m going to share the final version of this project and from it, there will be how and where I placed the items on the base.
As you can see the pictures above. The two colors are red and blue with white haha. It looks good as decoration. What are your favorite colors? mine is not red or blue but yellow haha. However, I can’t add a lot of colors to it. I didn’t want to ruin the rocket so I just colored the edges of it. You can draw anything you like as well on the sides.
As I said, I don’t have a lot of things to keep it in this holder but my color pencils and pens haha. However, if you have other things like makeup brushes or something similar. That would fit perfectly.

Love to do diy when im on vacation..small projects like landscaping,making small pond,painting the house.doing it with my son is like a bonding.and besides hiring workers during this pandemic might not be a good idea..you’ll never know
